Hello, apologies first of all, I wasn't sure where the best place was to stick this. Anyway..
I've finished the beginners course and feel like I'm making progress but also feel like I'd benefit from a few 1 to 1 lessons.
I live in Nottingham but there really doesn't seem to be much in the way of face to face ukulele teachers here (and the nearest ukegroup is a fair distance for a none driver). So looks like zoom lessons would be the way to go but I'm a little hesitant about it so wondered if anyone here could recommend a teacher? There are of course quite a few onlinebut a solid recommendation for a good one (with space for teaching hopefully) would be most welcome!
They don't have be uk based, though that be better in terms of time of day etc.
Evening Damian. There is the ukulele project it is nation wide how it works I must admit I have no idea but it might be worth looking at I am thinking of having a look some time soon.
If you are a Gold member you can send Matt a maximum of 6 videos per year, with your questions. He can assess your playing, answer your questions and give you advice. He used to teach privately but doesn’t any more. Perhaps the video route could tide you over until you find a one-on-one teacher.
