New Lesson: Jazz soloing - chord tones and modes

Writer's picture: Matt SteadMatt Stead

Hi everyone, just to let you know I've made another new lesson for you all. We're going to look into improvisation again with chord tones and modes.

In this lesson we’ll explore a whole new way to solo; using chord tones and then modes. These are two of the key way jazz musicians improvised back in the day. I’ll explain what the two methods are in detail and show you how you can use leading tones to create beautiful solos.
